Or Shalom, Vernon Hills

Or Shalom is a growing, yet intimate Reform Congregation located in Vernon Hills, one of Chicago's vibrant Northwest suburbs with about 380 member families. Their goal is to meet the diverse spiritual, educational and cultural needs of our congregants and the local Jewish community. Or Shalom welcomes and includes interfaith families in all facets of our Temple life. Or Shalom provides a spiritual home for those seeking a meaningful Jewish life within a caring community, Or Shalom is very proud of our religious education programs. Classes are offered for learners from preschool through adult and have a unique program for Children with Special Needs (Bonim). Or Shalom's goal is for each child to develop a positive Jewish identity and a strong sense Jewish pride which will foster a commitment to embrace Jewish traditions into adulthood and throughout their lives.
